I’ve been a huge fan of Aardman’s Wallace & Gromit since I saw their shorts on YTV as a child. Their work didn’t exactly introduce me to stop-motion animation, (Tim Burton did that with A Nightmare Before Christmas), but I’ve become fascinated with this form of animation since I saw The Wrong Trousers (which, FYI is still my favorite of this this genre). The details of the sets are absolutely jaw-dropping. Wallace’s house has all the knickknacks and clutter that a real lived-in house would have, but at the same time, there’s just something about it that looks so inviting and cozy. The same goes for Gromit’s house — I can never read all the titles of the books he has in his bookshelf, but it seems like they’re all “dog-related” interests.

I haven’t watched Wallace & Gromit’s latest adventure — A Matter of Loaf & Death — yet, so I’ve only skimmed bits of this clip about the making of it, just so I won’t spoil it for myself. Thought I’d post it anyways for all you fans out there anyways.
